Just like clay but requires only 24 hours to air dry. Sets harder than clay. Can be manipulated as a modelling clay with water slip and traditional wood/wire modelling tools. Great for model making, sculptures, folk art craft, and encouraging the development of spatial skills. No Fire Clay will keep moist in its plastic, airtight bucket however make sure the lid is securely replaced when not in use. Finished work will take approximately a week to ten days to dry at room temperature. When dry finished work may be painted with acrylics. No Fire Clay is ideal for schools without a kiln, or use as an introduction to clay modelling.
Not suitable for outdoor sculptural pieces or other functional items.
